Pots
A pot is a prediction pool.
You write out what you're predicting, set the options people can choose from, decide how much everyone has to put in, and set a deadline.
Example: "Will Jake actually go to the gym this week?" Options: Yes / No. Stake: $10. Deadline: Sunday midnight.
Everyone who joins picks an option and puts in their stake. When the deadline passes, referees call the winner.
Creating a pot
Takes about 30 seconds:
1. Write the prediction. Be specific. "Lakers win tonight" not "Lakers are better."
2. Add the options. At least two. Usually it's Yes/No or two competing outcomes.
3. Set the stake. How much each person puts in to join.
4. Set the deadline. When does the pot close?
5. Pick the referees. Choose 1-5 people to call the result.
That's it. Share the pot link and watch people pile in.
